*** It is highly advisable that students have attended either one of my pottery courses or have previous experience in working with clay prior to coming along to a drop-in session ***
Drop-in sessions are held on Tuesday evenings between 7:00-9:00pm. The sessions are intended to give students who have attended one of my pottery courses access to the pottery wheels so that they can practice and develop their skills. Students will also learn safe practice and basic pottery and clay workshop methods.
The drop-in sessions will enable students to concentrate on either throwing pots on the wheel or hand-building with clay. The sessions will also give students time and space to develop their skills and meet other aspiring potters. I will be available to offer advice and help develop skills from throwing, hand-building, decoration and basic glazing.
A variety of light refreshments such as tea and coffee will be in plentiful supply.
Students can book as many or as few sessions as they like. There are places for up to 4 students per session at ￡20 each which covers all basic materials and firing costs (Please note that if students want to use more specialist materials or glazes they will need to purchase these themselves). Students must use this form to book their place and pay when they arrive at the session - this can be either Cash, Bank Transfer, or PayPal.
*** If you book a place but then find you can’t make it please get in touch as soon as possible so that another student can be offered your place ***
